Thank you for considering us for your tummy tuck journey! Because many of our patients travel from across the country, we’ve designed a simple two-step consultation process. First, you’ll meet with our patient advisor. She is actually a MaxTuck patient herself and can share her personal experience, recovery, travel logistics, and answer many of the questions patients commonly have. Then, you’ll meet directly with me. During that consultation we’ll review your goals, examine your anatomy, discuss whether you’re a candidate, and build your personalized surgical plan. Frequently Asked Questions

Why are there two consultations?

Our patient advisors answer many common questions and help prepare you for your surgeon consultation, allowing Dr. Rueda to focus on surgical planning.

Is the consultation fee refundable? Can if be applied to surgery?

A $250 consultation fee is required at the time of booking. This fee is non-refundable unless our patient advisor determines that you are not a suitable candidate for surgery during Step 1. If you decide to book surgery with us, the $250 consultation fee will be applied toward your surgical fee. Note: There is an additional $7.50 card processing fee applied for all online bookings and is non-refundable.

What Makes a Good Candidate for Surgery?

Please review the following requirements before scheduling your consultation:

BMI of 33 or below (required for all surgical candidates in our practice)

If you are diabetic, your Hemoglobin A1C must be 6.5 or below

You must be nicotine-free for at least one year, including cigarettes, vaping, cigars, nicotine pouches, patches, and other nicotine-containing products
